The Nutrition Labeling and Education Act (NLEA) of 1990 authorized the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to require nutrient labeling on almost all foods sold domestically.  ANRESCO provides expertise in complying with FDA/USDA regulations on nutrient labeling and uses AOAC, FDA, USDA or equivalent recognized methods for all analyses.  ANRESCO has performed nutrient labeling analyses continually since 1973.

Anresco runs both "Luke" and "QuEChERS" multi-residue analyses (MRAs).  The "Luke" MRA has been the standard FDA method for over twenty years and is adequate for capturing most older pesticides.  The "QuEChERS" MRA is a relatively young method developed by the USDA.  It can pick up many of the newer pesticides but has matrix issues/limitations and requires consultation with Anresco staff prior to any submission.
