Flavonoid Testing

Flavonoids are phytonutrients that account for up to 2.5% of the dry weight of cannabis flower. Also responsible for the flavor profile of foods, flavonoids impact the pigmentation, aroma, and overall characteristics of cannabis plants. While research has been limited, they are thought to be synergistic with cannabinoids and terpenes to produce what’s commonly referred to as “the entourage effect.”
Anresco is one of the only laboratories in the country that has a validated method for flavonoid profiling included in its ISO 17025 scope of accreditation. Utilizing LCMSMS, Anresco is capable of quantifying the presence of the following 16 flavonoids in various product matrices.
