Kratom Florida Requirements
On August 18, 2026, Emergency Rule 2ER26-2 was enacted, adding 7-acetoxymitragynine, dihydro-7-hydroxymitragynine (MGM-15), and 9-fluoro-7-hydroxymitragynine (MGM-16) to Schedule I under Section 893.03(1)(a), Florida Statutes. The rule also classifies 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) as a Schedule I substance when present at concentrations exceeding 1 mg/g in powders and solids or 1 mg/mL in liquids. Finally, any product containing 7-OH must contain at least 100 times more mitragynine by mass. This ruling is scheduled to expire June 30, 2027 unless replaced or extended.
